Palamed is a local-first application. Your plans live in one SQLite database file on your own computer. We do not run analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind in the app or on this website.
If you enable backups, snapshots of your database are uploaded to an S3-compatible bucket that you own and configure (for example Cloudflare R2). Credentials for that bucket are stored on your machine in an encrypted credential file. We never see your bucket, its contents, or its credentials.
The app periodically checks for a newer version. This request fetches a static manifest and does not carry any personal data or identifiers beyond what any HTTP request includes.
If you subscribe to Personal Cloud (when available) and create cloud workspaces, the data in those workspaces is hosted on our infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2) to provide the service, along with the account information you provide (email address for sign-in). Local workspaces are unaffected. Sub-processor: Cloudflare, Inc.
The built-in assistant can run against your own local codex CLI, in which case your prompts are handled by your own provider account under that provider's terms; or against the optional cloud AI gateway, in which case prompts are relayed to the configured model provider. The assistant only acts on your data through the same local interface you use, and dangerous operations require your explicit confirmation.
palamed.net serves static pages from Cloudflare's edge. We do not set cookies and do not run client-side analytics. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent) may be processed by Cloudflare to operate and protect the service.
